What is this show about?

"Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.

Adapted from Fey's hit 2004 film, Mean Girls was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards. This queen-bee took Broadway by storm and has joined the musical in-crowd." (MTI)

Who can help offstage with this show?

Crew roles are open to a wide variety of folks with interest and expertise in particular areas. We prioritize students in the Bellingham School District, and also welcome community members who can help with our needs! Please see our Production Program page for information or click on the link below to apply for a crew!

Who can audition for this show?

Students in Bellingham School District who will be in grades 912 in Fall of 2024

And, due to COVID's cancelation of so many opportunities in the past three years, we also welcome 2024 graduating seniors!

Is there a fee for this program?

We are a primarily educational program, so we try to keep fees very low, with the goal of offsetting the cost of production. We charge each cast member $150 and each crew member $25. (And everyone gets a show t-shirt!). Please don't let these fees stop you from auditioning or applying for crew! We have some assistance funds to make this program financially accessible for all.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; you can donate directly to our program anytime by clicking on our Donate tab.
