Want to be cast in the summer production?
Eligibility:
Students entering grades 9–12 in the Bellingham Public School District are eligible to audition for a role in SMTI’s summer musical.
And, due to COVID's cancelation of so many opportunities in the past few years, we also welcome 2024 graduating seniors!

Location:
From auditions to rehearsals to performances, EVERYTHING takes place at Squalicum High School, 3773 E McLeod Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226. Click here for a map.
Process and Timeline:
The show is announced in fall and auditions take place in late May or early June. The cast list is announced and scripts are distributed shortly thereafter. To make the most of our intensive time together, actors should plan to know their part on the first day of rehearsal with the goal of being off-book for dialogue and music by the end of the first week. Performances occur at the end of three weeks, around mid-July.
